KEEP LOOKING

This week we challenged the kids to KEEP LOOKING for what God will do at our schools, our homes and our church.

The story from the Bible was about Jesus feeding 5,000 people off of a little boys lunch of 5 loaves and 2 fishes. God can do miracles in our lives and we should never take them for granted.

3 years ago today,  Pastor JR and a group of people started what we call Freedom Church. God has done wonders here in the city of Acworth, Georgia. In the past 3 years we seen lives changed, marriages restored, and hundreds upon hundreds of people (children included) that have experienced life in Christ. This Sunday (January 30th) we are going to celebrate like only Freedom Church can, with style. Your invited to come take part in this celebration. Freedom Church meets at 9:45am or 11:15am - Barber Middle School located off New McEver Rd. in Acworth. See you there!

The story from the Bible was about Jesus washing the disciples feet. No matter who, no matter how God wants us to help others by serving them just like Jesus taught us, by doing whatever it takes to show God's love to someone.

This Month in Freedom Kidz

We are Freedom Church!

Over the next few weeks in Freedom Church we are going through a series that defines our culture.  What better way to pass on the culture than to start teaching the culture to our Freedom Kidz.

We made it simple so that your children will remember.

During this Series we are giving everyone in your family a "We are Freedom Church" t-shirt. 
We are encouraging the kids to wear their "We are Freedom Church" shirt to school on Wednesdays. It will help your kids be able to invite their friends and help make our presence know in our schools. This is going to be an exciting year at Freedom Church, looking forward to what God is going to do in the city of Acworth, Georgia.

Get your "We are Freedom Church" shirt or infant onesie - Sunday in the main lobby.

Sunday, December 12th

Christmas Circus Show (for ages 4 to 5th grade)
Christmas is a time every year that we celebrate with family and friends. We give gifts and we eat a lot.
This month we are SHOWing Freedom Kidz the reason why we celebrate Christmas.
With a special visit from Stan the Shepherd Man and William the Wiseman, your kids will learn the truth about Christmas.





Sunday, December 19th

Birthday Party (for ages 2 to 5th grade)

Your kids are invited to the biggest party all year, Jesus' birthday party! With all kinds of fun we will celebrate the birth of Jesus. This will be a Sunday your kids will be talking about all week, non-stop!

There will be party games, cupcakes, a lot of fun and most importantly, Mr. Ben has a special gift for us to give to Jesus.  

Sunday, December 24th

CHRISTMAS EVE in ACWORTH 

North Cobb High School - 3:00pm and 5:00pm 

Christmas Eve is a time to celebrate as a family. Families are very important to us here at Freedom and we want to enable you to celebrate together.  

There will be NO BigTop (Elementary) this day. 1st grade to 5th grade students are invited to take part in this event with you while Freedom Kidz will continue to be available for children ages 0-5yrs old.

Baptism for Kidz

This Sunday is a celebration at Freedom Church we call baptism.

We want your children to be involved also. If you child is wanting to be baptized or may have questions about what baptism is than we want to help them understand it better.

We offer a [What is baptism? for kidz] class where we explain what it is, who its for and how can they get the chance to take part.

We want to make sure that your child fully understands what baptism is.

This week we offer two chances:

Wednesday Night at 6:30pm

or

Saturday Morning at 10:30am

at the Freedom Church Offices located at

Each class will last approximately 30 minutes and each child must be accompanied by an adult.

Super Sloppy Summer - coming to apartments near you!

Super Sloppy Summer is an Evangelistic tool that is outrageous and off the wall! It focuses on reaching kids in surrounding communities where they are. Its is 2 hours of upbeat music, messy games, a lot of fun and provides an opportunity to meet families and Kids that you normally would not meet inside the doors of the church.

The EVENT

The EVENT is for all Freedom Kidz and their parents. Immediately following the 11:15 worship experience. Freedom Church wants to invite you to the ball field at Barber Middle School for hot dogs and fun. It will be a chance to get to meet other parents while your kids get to take part in a EVENT filled with water, slime and fun. All children are encouraged to bring a bathing suit and a towel with them to church. You don't want to miss this BIG EVENT.

Jumpstart Conversations

Last week We launched a resource website for Parents called Freedom Parents. One of the special things about this website is what we call Freedom Kidz: This Week. On this page we list questions that will jumpstart conversations with your children that will continue what they have learned at Freedom Church and help you help them grasp what they have learned. There is something on there for all ages even infants. Check It out!

What is Freedom Parents?

Here at Freedom Church, we understand that being a parent is hard work. Understanding what your child is going through is hard also. This is why we want to help make parenting simpler. Within this website, we have compiled resources that will help you in setting parental controls for cell phones, game systems, television and internet. We also have included information on the stages of your child's development both physically and spiritually.

Other Items include:

Dealling with Bullies and the bullied.

Good parenting books.

The coolest part is that each week you can log on and see what your child had learned that week in Freedom Kidz. We provide you with discussion questions that you can talk with your child during the week. This will give you a chance to be a part of what your child is learning in a VERY positive way.

Freedom Church is Moving!

This Past Sunday we celebrated our last Sunday at Barber Middle School. We have been blessed with the opportunity to move into North Cobb High School beginning this week. This Move will allow for more room to grow and safer and more exciting environments for your children. Its going to be a Sunday you don't want to miss, but the cool thing is we do this every week, so make your plans to be a part of Freedom Church this Sunday at North Cobb High School at either the 9:45 am or the 11:15am worship experiences.
