RockStar Sunday RECAP

This Sunday in Freedom Kidz we encouraged all our kidz and partners to take part in Rockstar Sunday, the halls were lined with stars each of them had a name of one of our volunteers that serve each week in Freedom Kidz, they are our rockstars! I CAN WELCOME JESUS, 
Lil'k and Kai learn how to welcome Jesus just like a friend. Hear how Jesus traveled to Jerusalem being welcomed and celebrated by people waving palm branches. Jesus had a special job that no one else could do and that changed the world forever. Celebrate Easter withthe good news that Jesus is alive again!

April 10th - I can welcome Jesus  - Matthew 21:7-11, John 12:12-15

April 17th  - Jesus shows his love  - Matthew 27:45-28:8

April 24th - Celebrate! Jesus is Alive

                 

Elementary Series:

During the month of April we will continue learning from people in the bible that have had bad days and how God can help us get through them. Last month we learned from Noah, Daniel, Moses and Joseph.

Show and Tell Sunday

Sunday March 27th is Show and Tell Sunday for our Preschoolers.

We want to encourage your 2 - 5 year olds to bring their favorite toy to Freedom Kidz.

I want to assure you that we will label each item and make sure that your child leaves with what your child brought. 

over the past few weeks in the Playland and Funhouse (our Preschool environments) we have been looking at what God has made.  The Series is called show and tell and we wanted to give your child the chance to show their friends something that is special to them that God had made.

*March 20th-  Freedom Kidz Preschool Children will be encouraged to bring a toy of their choice. 

For the Funhouse Show and Tell. They will get to show it off and tell why it's their favorite toy.

New Series begins this Sunday

New Series begins this Sunday in Freedom Kidz.

Children (ages 3-12) will get to experience a video game series that will have your kids talking

about this little man for weeks.

Zacchaeus was a Wii little man, and a Wii little man was He. 

He climbed up in a sycamore tree for the Lord He wanted to see.

Febuary 27th - I am in 3rd place.  Putting God 1st in our life.

This Sunday in Freedom Kidz

This Week Only in the BIG TOP (1st -5th grade). 

We are teaching on contentment using the ever popular story of Rapunzel. 

With the new Disney movie "Tangled" that came out in the theater last week, your children will be hearing about her story for a while and so why not look at it from God's perspective.

Week # 4 of Beefesians is going to be super exciting! Not only are we teaching your kids about what the Bible says about how we should BEhave but we are also debuting the latest episode of "Dance, Dance with Ringo".

If you don't know what I am talking about and you haven't heard your child running around the house talking about Ringo dancing to Peanut Butter Jelly Time, than click HERE and go back and watch. This Sunday is Dance Dance with Ringo episode two. Don't miss it!

In celebration of the Beefesians western series we are giving away prizes.

Your child and our Freedom kidz Partners are invited to take part in this event and go all out.

Prizes are given to the best dressed cowboy, best dressed cowgirl

best looking cow. Yes I said cow, it is western also.

New Series - Beefesians

This past week we started a brand new series for your children from ages 2 all the way through the 5th grade, It's a western theme called Beefesians. We are covering the book of Ephesians and how we should "BE"

SEPT. 12^TH – Belong - Being part of God’s family 
Ephesians 1:5; John 1:2

SEPT.19^TH – Believe - We are saved by faith 
Ephesians 2:8

SEPT. 26^TH – Be patient - Dealing with difficult people 
Ephesians 4:2

OCT. 3^RD – Behave - Setting radical standards of personal excellence. 
Ephesians 5:1, 2; Ephesians 5:7

OCT. 10^TH - Be strong - Putting on God’s spiritual armor 
Ephesians 6:10

Last week also was the beginning of a couple new things.

* A new structure that includes a Large Group called the BIG SHOW that includes all the kids ages 4-11. then your child is dismissed into their small group where they are divided up by age and grade.

* A DJ that plays songs that your child will recognize.

* A live worship experience for your children. It includes Motion Dancers, a band and a lot of Fun.

* We also began a contest to raise money to help sponsor a cow. By your child bringing coins on Sunday they are helping provide milk and finances for families in need in Honduras. At the end of the series your child will receive a certificate that shows that they played a major part in helping families in need.

Mark your Calenders!

Your invited to Freedom Kidz Hat Sunday

Prizes will be given for the biggest hat, craziest hat and the most creative hat.

All children and Freedom Kidz partners are encouraged to come to Freedom Church with a special hat. Hat Sunday will be so much fun you that you don't want to miss out.

God's Kid- Starts in Pre-School

Jesus grew, and you are growing too!

Jesus traveled with his family to Jerusalem and he listened, learned and obeyed. Jesus even taught the temple teachers about God! Jesus was loved by everyone who knew him, and his example can teach us how to live!

Sing along to "Just Like Jesus" during Songtime, and learn about Jesus' visit to the temple during our Bible Adventure. Look out for the doodads, as they help us discover just how Jesus grew.

Professor Sock has grown too! His new invention, the "Bigantallorator" has made him super-sized and super-wise!

Hey Preschoolers

Last week your preschoolers (ages 2-5) began to discover that...

WHERE IS GOD IF I CAN'T SEE HIM?

IS HE WITH ME WHEN I GO AWAY?

CAN I HIDE FROM GOD?

Your Preschoolers will discover that God is HERE and NEAR, wherever they go! Join in the fun as we learn about God's promise to be with us always. We will journey with Elisha and his helper as God reveals that His mighty army is with them as they face the King's army. We'll discover what Moses saw in the burning bush, and learn why David was a Braveheart as he faced the giant Goliath.

God is HERE and NEAR, in fact, GOD IS EVERYWHERE!

Princess & Superhero Sunday

This coming Sunday is a special event Sunday for all children and partners in Freedom Kidz.

This Sunday we have challenged them all to dress up like princess' for the girls and Superheroes for the boys.

Prizes are being given away to the best dressed, most creative outfit and most convincing princess & superhero. This is a Sunday that your kids will talk about for a long time. come be a part of a lot of fun.
