The Zacchaeus Rap

In Freedom Kidz this month we have been teaching them about a man in the Bible named Zacchaeus whos life was changed because he choose to follow Jesus. Zacchaeus was a greedy tax collector who became a cheerful giver. This week what better way to bring home the point than to let these guys, Cracker Jack and Sweet T explain the story. New Series - Beefesians

This past week we started a brand new series for your children from ages 2 all the way through the 5th grade, It's a western theme called Beefesians. We are covering the book of Ephesians and how we should "BE"

SEPT. 12^TH – Belong - Being part of God’s family 
Ephesians 1:5; John 1:2

SEPT.19^TH – Believe - We are saved by faith 
Ephesians 2:8

SEPT. 26^TH – Be patient - Dealing with difficult people 
Ephesians 4:2

OCT. 3^RD – Behave - Setting radical standards of personal excellence. 
Ephesians 5:1, 2; Ephesians 5:7

OCT. 10^TH - Be strong - Putting on God’s spiritual armor 
Ephesians 6:10

Last week also was the beginning of a couple new things.

* A new structure that includes a Large Group called the BIG SHOW that includes all the kids ages 4-11. then your child is dismissed into their small group where they are divided up by age and grade.

* A DJ that plays songs that your child will recognize.

* A live worship experience for your children. It includes Motion Dancers, a band and a lot of Fun.

* We also began a contest to raise money to help sponsor a cow. By your child bringing coins on Sunday they are helping provide milk and finances for families in need in Honduras. At the end of the series your child will receive a certificate that shows that they played a major part in helping families in need.
